Ink & Sand
During the year 2020, the artist left Paris to settle on the sunny beaches of the Californian Pacific. It is then, through his dance sessions facing the sea, that he intimately connects with the sand. Evoking the telluric force of the city, this material subtly invades his works, symbolizing the phase of adaptation, waiting, and learning during a change of location. But he also captures the phase of creation, evolution, strength, and preparation of internal movements, in this process of maturation. "Cocon" is a series that embodies an era and a crucial moment in the artist's life.
