Los Angeles, a sprawling metropolis, stands at the epicenter of the most pressing contemporary challenges. Its citizens, confronted with rapid urbanization, are seeking answers to the growing needs for transportation, housing, and social integration. In this city where the boundaries between nature and concrete blur, a significant gathering is being organized under the auspices of Villa Albertine and the Consulate General of France to explore sustainable and inclusive solutions.

It is within this context that the artist has immersed themselves in the creation of a unique performance. "Beyond the Lines" is the central theme of this artistic dialogue, an exploration that transcends mere appearances and social masks to uncover a more authentic truth. The artist, acutely aware of these modern dissimulations, responds with a work that vibrates with sincerity.

Inspired by Laure Murat’s essay This Is Not a City, this Los Angeles-based duo of artists reinvents the language of movement. Borrowing the majesty of palm trees and the vitality of Cuban dances, they blend contact dance with traditional rhythms to create a performance that aims to bridge hearts and minds.
